Following are the
objectives of the Ministry of Land Reform and Management and
its line agencies:
To prepare the policies related to land reform, land management
and land survey and mapping.
To conduct land reform programs, land management programs
and land survey and mapping under the provisions of Land Related
Act, 2021, Land Revenue Act, 2034, Land Survey and Measurement
Act, 2019.
To constitute land-ownership records system in a scientific
and informative way.
To produce/develop human resources required for land management
and land survey and mapping.
To develop integrated land-information system.
Sustainable development
To develop land survey and mapping
system as well as geographic information system essential
for the overall development of the nation.
To conduct Land Reform Program,
Land Use Program and Land Consolidation Program for resulting
in positive transformation in the economic and social transformation
of common people.
To provide land ownership for
land-less and ex-kamaiyas, and to arrange settlements for
ex-kamaiyas.
To protect and nourish religious
resources and Guthi Corporation.
To promote the National Geographic
Information Infratructure Program.
To prepare the policies related to land reform, land management
and land survey and mapping.
